OUR HOMESCHOOL SUPPLIES & RESOURCES

Maths Supplies:

Some of our Maths supplies I picked up yesterdat at Spotlight store - lot of Manipulatives which the girls helped pick out. The number lines I made up on cardboard up to the number 21.
A multiplication tables book, number chart, and a multiplication chart and number cards which I made on cardboard.

Reading & Phonics supplies:

Early Reader books (above) and some plastic lowercase letters, frij magnet letters and a spelling book.

Games & activities: our coffee table

The girls can choose their own activity. We call it quiet time, which is just after lunch. They can choose which room they would like to go to and spend time doing a quiet activity or two for an hour or so. We have more resources put away and I change them around every few weeks.

Wow!! Learning that looks like utter fun! I bet your girls love it. My Corey is 7 and he does loves school and learning. That gorgeous place on my blog is 3 min from my house on a canal in Kawana Island 5 min from Maroochydore in the Sunshine Coast. I love it... and ride my bike there with my son about 3 times a week for a spell and a great tasting coffee and of course Icecream. x

They had to match & name the floral emblems with the right states.

After looking at the floral emblems of Australia, the girls wanted to discover what leaves they could find and indentify the shapes.

Maitlyn very proud of her school work and Braylee did this great Ken Done-looking dot-to-dot drawing of the map of Australia wth icons for each state.
